NOTES
In accordance with the Senate decision dated 16.06.2017 regarding education in three languages, it is required to have language proficiency of at least B2 level in Turkish, English, and Arabic as a graduation requirement in all departments of our University.
a- Comparative LiteratureUndergraduate Program Course Plan has been arranged so that students can take Arabic for four semesters to meet these requirements, and international students can take Turkish for an additional four semesters. Enrollment in the language courses appropriate to students' levels will be ensured by placement exams to be held by the School of Languages.
b- Students who have the required language proficiency or can achieve it before four semesters will take the departmental elective courses specified in the course plan instead of Arabic courses with codes ARA 301, ARA 302, ARA 303, ARA 304 and Turkish courses with codes TUR 301, TUR 302, TUR 303, TUR 304.
In the undergraduate curricula of Ibn Haldun University, all courses, including language courses, can be taken as general electives.
To graduate from the Comparative Literature undergraduate program, a total of 144 credits and 48 courses with 240 ECTS must be taken.
