On October 19, a memorandum of understanding was signed between our University and the State University of World Languages of Uzbekistan to facilitate cooperation in the field of research and education. During the introductory visit of the delegation consisting of Prof. Gulnoz Khalliyeva and Prof. Bahar Turayeva from the Department of World Literature and Literary Studies of the State University of World Languages of Uzbekistan, Prof. Khalliyeva and Dr. Emine Hoşoğlu Doğan, the heads of the departments of both universities, held a meeting with the participation of Dr. Merve Aktar and Dr. Rahmi Oruç about the common interests between the two departments and Comparative Literature studies. The cooperation agreement signed after the meeting includes details about student mobility opportunities and the possible contributions of the Department of Comparative Literature of our University to the academic activities that Uzbekistan State Language University will organize in the near future.
