Within the scope of the Comparative Literature Department course 'Publishing Industry and Editorship', Dr. Lecturer Melike Günyüz and our students participated in the Fellowship project event held at Rami Library on March 5-6-7.
Almost 200 publishers and 95 publishing house representatives from 72 countries participated in the Fellowship 2024 event, which is a copyright market project aiming to ensure that cultural production reaches readers in different geographies. During the event, which consisted of 8 sessions including seminars and private meetings with publishers, our students had the opportunity to meet with the organizers of the program, Mehmet Burhan Genç, President of the Turkish Printing and Publishing Professional Association, Kenan Kocatürk, President of the Turkish Publishers Association, and Taner Beyoğlu, Director General of Turkish Libraries and Publications.
In these meetings, our students from the Department of Comparative Literature, who evaluated the Fellowship program, not only received information about the global position of the Fellowship Project, but also met many publishers and found answers to their questions about their fields.
